Is there a notification on the signup/home page that Memo has a faucet? Might be helpful to let new users know that it's free to post and create a profile

Would rather memo was a bit less generous to new accounts and spent the sats on keeping up development.
A while back , I recommended unfunded accounts get a daily post limit....between 1-5 free messages every 24 hours i thinks is fair.
I think 10 actions (set name, profile pic, posts and replies) on account creation. Then 5 posts or replies every 24 hours is fair

lol, so it doesnt goto 0, instead when funds almost finished it goes to the Faucet for funds.

I think this could be a problem if arseholes like jim-btc abuse it with a bots and multiple accounts to just overwhelm memo with spam

The like worked. Note I didn't select a tip, just liked but it displays I sent you 8396 sat??
Yea display does say that...but my balance did not go up...so i got no tip.
You may have found a small tip display bug...and discovered unfunded accounts can post and give likes.
Giving free likes to unfunded accounts could drain the Faucet faster than leaving comments...i think Memo should look into this soon
